Property Report Shows Sold/Cancelled Listing Instead of the Active Listing?

Follow
When we query your MLS regarding a property report and there are multiple listings associated with the same address, our system pulls the most recently updated listing.

This is why you received a report with a cancelled listing.

Most of the time, the active listing is the most recently updated. In your case this cancelled listing is more recently updated than your active listing.

This is extremely rare.

To fix this that active listing would need to be updated.

If you do create a property report and see this happen, it is recommended to use the mls number as you may not always have access to edit the listing.
